One day, one room, the people who decide what gets tokenized. Institutions, asset owners, investors and regulators, by approved registration only.
Executives from these organizations attended Edition 1

Most events measure themselves by headcount. We measure by who was in the room and what they did the week after.
Every attendee is approved before they get a badge. C-level only, no +1s, no sales floor. You spend the day with decision makers, not their gatekeepers.
Edition 1 hosted VARA, the Capital Markets Authority and DMCC alongside the institutions they license. The questions you usually email about get answered across a table.
Seating and sessions are built around who should meet whom. The format is designed for the conversation after the panel, where deals actually start.
The Tokenization Forecast 2027-2030 launches in the room: an analytical report from RWA Labs on where real-world asset tokenization stands and where it goes next.
Attendance is limited to C-level and senior decision makers from four groups.
Real estate, commodities, credit and funds ready to take assets on-chain and looking for the right structure, venue and buyers.
Banks, payment networks and asset managers deciding where tokenization fits their product roadmap.
Funds, family offices and VCs allocating to tokenized assets and the infrastructure behind them.
Exchanges, custodians, issuance platforms and advisers licensed to make tokenized markets work.
1 May 2026, Dubai. Founders, bankers, regulators and investors on one floor, with the conversations running well past the last panel.

Dubai has been my home for 18 years. I've been working with the regulators here very closely, lobbying for some of the regulations, writing some of the regulations. I am so convinced and so bullish on Dubai and the UAE that I don't even consider other places as hubs.

I think one problem we can definitely solve quickly is making sure that we as an industry share global standards as a community making sure those standards do not belong to private entities, but more become a public good.

VARA regulation took us from doing 10 to 20 million dollars a month to hundreds of millions. 85% of our volume is now corporate. No CFO or risk officer signs off on a jurisdiction without that license. Being regulated is the advantage.

As a player in the tokenization space, you really need to evaluate what the underlying asset is and validate with the community, with the users, who will be the adopters and see if there's demand there. Think distribution first and tokenization second."
The UAE has taken a very bold stance in starting to regulate the asset class that a lot of people were afraid to regulate. This is really needed as a foundation for the ecosystem to scale not just from a DeFi perspective, but also from an institutional perspective. Regulation is the one aspect that brings everyone together.

Tokenizing an asset does not make it liquid. If there's nobody on the other side when you want to sell, the access you were sold means nothing. The fix is the same machinery the brokerage industry already runs on: market makers. Real ownership behind the token. Real redemption rights. The same legal standing as the traditional holder.

Today we have seen a lot of innovators and I call them innovators, and I meant it from around the world who have done great job and great work. It was my great pleasure to have the opportunity to participate and network with such great people talking about one of the key future wealth making technologies.

Never expect, always inspect. Get in the habit of double-checking. Don't assume others have checked in the same way you've checked or verified things. They visit Dubai thinking that they need to do a transaction and all that. Spend a bit of time, observe, and then listen to your gut.
